CROCHET SUMMER TEE

With the weather warming up and the ongoing lockdown, I’ve been in my Crochet summer tee even though it is not yet summer. Mainly because this beauty seems to be appropriate for all weather!

I can simply pair this summer top with a jean and when going out in the evenings or on cold days, I can layer with a jacket.

The details in this crochet summer Tee are just too amazing!!! Take a look at the lace details on the neck! It was so much fun designing this beauty. It has become a staple in my wardrobe.

Did I mention that I made 2 of these tees? Yes, the sleeveless was a modification of the first. I wanted a more fitted Tee. That was what necessitated me to make another cute summer Tee.

I’ve named this easy Tee the “Rhapsody Tee” as it is a pattern I have so much enthusiasm for. Partly, because I have to make another to perfect this pattern.

As with all of my patterns, this pattern was tested by my friends and I love how creative they were with this piece.

Have a look at the image below, this is another modification as you can make yours without the lace trim on the body and sleeves.

One of my goals with Pattern designing is to bring you a versatile pattern and this also fits in. You have 3 different options with the pattern.

1. With Sleeves and with Lace
2. Sleeveless
3. With sleeves and without lace details on the sleeves and body.

Materials for the Crochet Summer Tee Pattern.

Yarn – Any Lightweight Double Knit Yarn (#3) can be used.

I’ve used Stylecraft for the purple and Knitcraft Mustard Cotton Blend Plain DK Yarn.

Level of difficulty – This pattern is rated intermediate with a repeat of basic stitches

The pattern is written in US crochet terms.

Sizes Available – The summer Tee is size Inclusive of 9 different sizes. Using Bust Measurements from 30 – 62″.
