One of my goals for the new year is to help you perfect your crochet skills and to do so, I have designed this easy crochet blanket as a free pattern for you to do so! This is a combination of Class, Colors, Tips, Stitches, and love!.
The Blanket is One that can easily be customized to your taste. I have graded this pattern in 4 different sizes and you can even make a Pillow/Cushion Cover from this pattern.
Name Inspiration
I have named this free crochet blanket pattern the Tudor rose blanket as the middle part resembles a Tudor Rose (Union Rose) which is a traditional Floral of England and it takes its name from the House of Tudor. Even though Tudor consists of 5 white inner petals and five red outer petals, which are clearly not included in my prototype, there’s a great similarity between the shape and the look of the two.
Yarn Suggestions for the Tudor blanket pattern
This prototype was made using the cute yarn sent to me by Ritohobby.co.uk which is a beautiful DK (#3) yarn. I would suggest you use any DK yarn you can find. I have made a beautiful review of this yarn and would upload it tomorrow.
