Materials and Yarn Details
For this project, you’ll need medium-weight yarn in Halloween-inspired colors—purple, black, and white work beautifully together.
The contrast gives this blanket its bold, dimensional look.
A 5 mm (H) crochet hook was used, but feel free to adjust based on your tension.
You’ll also need scissors, a tapestry needle, and stitch markers if desired. Using soft acrylic yarn ensures durability and easy care, making this the perfect seasonal blanket to reuse each year.

Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked from the center outward in circular rounds.
The floral bouquet border gives it a lovely petal-like effect that resembles blooming flowers. The project is designed with intermediate crocheters in mind, though confident beginners familiar with double crochet and cluster stitches will also find it enjoyable.
You can easily adjust the blanket’s size by repeating specific rounds or altering yarn thickness.

Pro Tips for Crocheting Your Halloween Blanket
- Keep your tension consistent—this ensures your circle remains flat without curling.
- Use stitch markers at the start of each round to help track progress, especially when working large circular patterns.
- For a crisp color transition, fasten off after each shade change and weave in ends as you go.
- Block your finished blanket to even out the stitches and accentuate the flower bouquet border.
Personalizing the Pattern
You can easily make this blanket your own by changing the colors to match your theme.
Try orange and black for a classic Halloween look or use metallic yarns for a more luxurious finish.
You could also add a few appliqué bats, pumpkins, or spider motifs for a whimsical touch.
If you prefer a less seasonal style, swap in lighter shades and transform this into a year-round floral statement blanket.
How to Use or Gift Your Halloween Blanket
This Halloween Crochet Flower Bouquet Blanket isn’t just for cozying up—it doubles as a unique décor accent.
Drape it over your sofa, use it as a picnic throw for fall gatherings, or fold it neatly in a gift basket for a handmade present.
It’s a creative piece that will bring warmth, style, and festive charm wherever it’s used.

How to Care for Your Crochet Blanket
To keep your blanket in top condition, wash gently in cold water using a mild detergent.
Lay flat to dry to preserve the shape of the flowers and prevent stretching.
Store it folded in a cool, dry place until the next spooky season arrives.

Leave a long tail of yarn for sewing.
Fasten off.
To assemble the flower
Start from either end.
Roll in a circular fashion and gradually expand the circle until you have completed the whole piece.
Secure with yarn at different spots on the base.
Sew in ends.
Joining the flowers to the blanket
Arrange the flowers on the blanket.
I spaced mine over 5 shells, if you made more flowers, you can reduce the distance between the flowers.
For fewer flowers, increase the number of shells.
Once happy with the spaces between the flowers, pup a smaller crochet hook. Insert the hook through the adjacent double crochet clusters.
I used the second leg of the fifth shell and the first leg of the next double crochet cluster as shown in the photo below.
Secure the rose to the space, repeat with each of the roses around.
Trim off the excess ends.
