Easy Crochet Top Pattern

The Inspiration and concept behind the easy summer crochet top pattern

I wanted a simple crochet top design that any level of crocheter would be ab;e to make. If you can follow written instructions, then this pattern is would be a perfect fit for you. The second concept was the side lace! I have always wanted a beautiful, elegant yet simple lace on the sides of my summer top and am finally glad it came out as planned.

Tied and Through crochet top pattern

Name Inspiration….

For those familiar with my projects, you would know that when it comes to naming my designs, sometimes I struggle. But that was not the case with this particular design! (Are you surprised?). The design came with its own special name. Following the construction of this Tee, I have named it the “Tied and through top” Why Tied? the sides are tied together using a rope to create a beautiful lace look. The ease of making the lace gives the extra ease in this top and makes it fit any shape and size.

Yarn choice for this easy crochet top

This makes this top a quick project. The prototype was made using – Stylecraft Monet Worsted Weight, #4 (50% Acrylic, 50% Cotton, 200 yards/183 meters per 3.5 oz/100g Ball)
