What yarn weights can I use to learn how to crochet a feather stitch?
As much as I would like to say you can use any yarn weights, this stitch would only pop out beautifully in thicker yarn weights. Not that you can not use the lighter weights, you can, but the texture and final look wouldn’t be a good one. Any yarn weights from Double knit (DK, #3) to worsted weight (#4) and to chunky weight (#5) would give a fabulous finished look.
For this tutorial, I would give detailed instructions as to how to crochet your first project using the Feather stitch. The finished item can be made into a washcloth, which I have done, or into any other crochet project, you love.
