Crochet Along Schedule

The Easy Gradient Shawl Crochet Along will run over 4 weeks.

Week 1: Getting Started + Shawl Setup

July 6 – July 13

In Week 1, we will begin the shawl and set up the starting section. This part helps establish the shape of the shawl and gives you a gentle start to the pattern.

Week 2: Building the Body

July 13 – July 20

In Week 2, we will continue building the main body of the shawl. You will begin to see the triangle shape grow, and the stitch rhythm will become more relaxing as the shawl opens up.

Week 3: Continuing the Lace and Shaping

July 20 – July 27

In Week 3, we will continue with the lace and shaping sections. This is where the shawl becomes even more beautiful, with the stitch pattern and gradient effect working together.

Week 4: Final Section + Edging + Finishing

July 27 – August 2

In Week 4, we will complete the final section, work the edging, and finish the shawl. This is also the perfect time to block your shawl so the lace can open up beautifully.

Blocking Your Shawl

Blocking is highly recommended for this project. It helps open up the lace, smooth out the shape, and give the shawl a more polished finish.

After finishing your shawl, gently wet block or steam block according to the yarn care instructions. Pin the shawl into shape and allow it to dry fully before wearing.
