How to crochet a spider web

Recently, I started making Halloween projects involving many spider webs. I thought the best way to introduce you to these projects is to share how I crochet a spider web lace with yarn.

What can you do with a spider web made from yarn?

Mostly, I use these spider webs for decorations this fall.

You can use these as appliques and turn them into wall hangings, shawls, scarves, and accessories like purses, beanies, and cowls. Gloves and wrist warmers are not left out. I have also made coasters and placemats with spiderweb lace.

Pin this post for later.

So, in the comment below, tell me what you intend to use your spider web lace for. The main reason for creating a separate post is to explain in detail how to crochet a spider web lace, as you will see many more patterns that will require it in the coming days.

This tutorial is featured alongside many more projects as part of this year’s crochet fall ideas. Have a look here.
