Crochet Hat Holder Free Pattern
Pick up the first wooden ring.
Make a slip knot to secure the ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, crocheting around the wooden ring, sc evenly until you have covered the ring, and join with a sl st to the beginning chain.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in next 20 sts, turn.
Rows 3 – 18: Repeat Row 2
Split into two
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in next 8 sts, turn
Rows 2 – 32: Ch 1, sc in next 8 sts, turn
Cut yarn
Second side:
Join yarn with a sl st to the other side of the remaining sts left
Repeat rows 1 – 32.
Do not fasten off.
Joining
Crocheting towards the other side
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in next 8 sts, ch 4, pick up the next section, sc in next 8 sts, turn.
Rows 2 – 7: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn
Row 8: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 16 sts sc2tog, turn.
Row 9: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 14 sts sc2tog, turn
Row 10: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 12 sts sc2tog, turn
Edging
Crocheting around the whole panel.
