Crochet reversible beanie and cowl set.

If you’ve been following my designing process for sometimes, you would notice that I have a thing for crochet reversible patterns, so, designing a reversible beanie and cowl set was well deserved.

Crochet reversible beanie pattern styled in 4 different ways.

My inspiration for the 2 in 1 crochet beanie and cowl set

Styling my makes in a single way seems monotonous and spicing it up has always been my aim. I get bored easily with wearing same garment or accessories the same way all the times. Thinking out of the usual, I prefer to add a little style in to each of my designs. This is the brain behind my convertible designs.

Do you know…..

  • This beanie can be styled in 4 different ways!
  • Also, you can make yours into a messy bun hat (ponytail hat)
  • Something beautiful and intriguing about this beanie and cowl is that you end up with a 2 in on2 beanie/cowl using 2 different shades of yarn (with similar weights).
  • You can customize the Cowl to be fitted/snug or loose, by going down or up a size.

The stitch used for the 2 in 1 crochet beanie and cowl set

This is 100% crochet and uses the basic crochet stitches – chains, double crochet. That’s all that is required to make this design.

Yarn used for the reversible crochet beanie and cowl set

The Chic reversible dress was mainly fingering weight as I was scared it would be too bulky.

The cowl and beanie set was designed and tested using two different yarn weights. This is so you can also make yourself or friends some cute crochet reversible beanie and cowl un either fingering weight or double knit (Dk) yarn.
