Crochet V Neck Reversible Top Pattern
I am excited to share the latest addition to my collection of reversible projects: the crochet v-neck reversible top pattern. This top has two different sides and colors.
Basically, this top does not have a right or wrong size! Go the fun way by using contrasting colors for more obvious differences.
A fun crochet top with two sides creates different colors and stitches.
The weight of the yarn makes this a lightweight top.
Pick different colors for a unique look.
The project is surprisingly easy as the stitches combine granny and V stitches. I have included many photos and 2 video tutorials to show you how to make the reversible effect.
Lastly, the pattern repeats the basic row, making this top mindless but engaging as it is made in parts with a new shape.

Supplies needed for the top
Yarn – Hobbii Cotton Kings Sultan Deluxe, #2 (100% cotton, 1000m/1093 yards per 250g skein).
Color A – Blue Moon (20)
Color B – Eagle Diamond (16)
Estimated Total Yardage
700 (800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500) Yards in color A

Hook and other Materials
- 4 mm Crochet Hook or any other suitable hook size.
- Stitch Markers – 2 pieces (in different colors)
- Darning needle
Gauge
19 sts over 16 rows = 4” using the stitch pattern.
Chain 19, and follow the written pattern.
Your stitch counts should be:
Row 1: 18 sc
Row 2: Color A 5 shells, 6 ch-1 sps, 2 dc.
Color B 5 V sts, 6 ch 1 sps, 2 dc
Crochet V Neck Reversible Top Pattern Notes
- Please kindly read through the pattern before starting.
- Chains at the rows’ beginning count as a stitch.
- Stitch count is written after each row.
- The pattern is worked in 3 sections and in different shapes.
- Section 1: Sleeves – Make 2 separate rectangles in rows with turning done after every 2 rows.
- Section 2: Bust – make two separate triangles in rows.
- Section 3: Made in rounds after joining the triangles.
- This pattern uses each color per row, which is slightly different from “conventional” crochet but easy to master.
