Crochet Beanie Pattern: Real Bobble Beanie

The real bobble crochet beanie pattern is one of my favorite go-to projects. I love the concept of contrasting popping bobbles!

Permit me to introduce you to the Real Bobble Beanie, a beginner-friendly crochet beanie pattern with a unique diamond shape. I have always wanted beautiful popping diamonds in my crochet hat, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

This cute beanie pattern is written to fit different sizes, including Infants, Toddlers, Children, Teens, and Adults. It would make a beautiful mummy-and-me set, don’t you think?

Have I mentioned how fast this beanie works up? You could make one or two Beanies in no time. Get your best yarn in two contrasting colors ready, and let’s make some beauties.

This beanie is worked from Brim up, this gives you the ideal of how big/small your beanie would be. You can adjust your starting chains to have a fitted beanie.

Materials for the real Bobble Beanie Pattern

Worsted weight (#4) – Stylecraft Special Aran (100% acrylic; 196m/142yards per 100g/ 3.53 oz ball/skein)

•1(1, 1, 1, 1, 1) skein Toasted Almond

•1(1, 1, 1, 1, 1) skein in Ash Rose

Hook and other materials

–US size J/ (4 mm) – for the brim

–US size H/8 (5 MM) Crochet hook – for Body

–Pompom (Optional)

–Measuring tape

–Yarn needle to sew in ends

–Scissors

Gauge (using 5.0mm hook)

14 dc over 7 rows = 10 x10 cm square/4”

Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.
