My kids fancy cute crochet treat bags, primarily related to the season. So, I decided on this fun and easy Carrot crochet Easter treat bag for them to gather the little candies I plan on hiding in strategic places in the house this year for the indoor egg hunt!

This easy crochet treat bag pattern is perfect for beginners and can be made in a few minutes. Using leftover yarn, you can make one or many treat bags.
Supplies needed for a Carrot crochet Easter treat bag
Yarn – I made the treat bag using #4 weight yarn and love how handy it came out.
Color A = 24/7 Cotton – Worsted weight, #4 lightweight (100% Cotton, 186 yd/170 m per 3.5 oz/100g skein)
Estimated Yardage = 20 yards
Color B = Hobbii Flash it – 80% Viscose, 20% Metallic Fiber (50 g (1.75 oz), 90 m (98 yds) per 1.75oz/50g skein.
Estimated yardage = 20 yards in CC
Hook = 5 mm Crochet Hook
Other materials – Stitch marker – 1 pcs

How to make the Carrot Crochet Easter treat bag
With Color A
Round 1: In a magic ring, ch 1, 6 hdc in the magic ring, join with a sl st to the beginning chain. 6 hdc
Place a stitch marker and move the marker after each round.
There is no need to start with the beginning chain or join after each round.
Round 2: *hdc in first st, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around.. 9 hdc
Round 3: *hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around. 12 hdc
Rounds 4 – 5: hdc in each st around. 12 hdc
Round 6: * hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around. 16 hdc
Round 7: hdc in each st. 16 hdc
Round 8: hdc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around. 20 hdc
Rounds 9 – 10: hdc in each st around. 20 hdc
Round 11: *hdc in next 4 sts, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around. 24 hdc
Rounds 12-13: hdc in each st around. 24 hdc
Round 14: *hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next st, rep from * around. 28 hdc
Rounds 15-16: hdc in each st around. 28 hdc
Sl st to the next st to close the gap
Fasten off color A, join color B
Round 17: Ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning ch.
Rounds 18 – 20: Ch 1, In third loop, hdc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning ch.
Round 21: Ch 1, In third loop, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning ch.
Handle
Continue with color B
FSC 20, skip next 13 sts, sl st to the next 2 sts
Weave in ends.
