Crochet Coaster and Coaster Holder Pattern
Excited to share my crochet coaster and coaster holder pattern! This is a fun project that adds to your table decorations! Since I make so many coasters, I find it difficult to keep my coasters in one place. No need for a lid, just a cute little box to keep your costers.
Most of the other coaster holders I have seen are not handmade or look more like a basket! I love how functional and the ease of accessing the coasters from the little bag. Add a few coaters into your coaster holder and that is it!

Yarn – Stylecraft Bellissima DK, #3 (100% Acrylic, 293 yards / 286 meters per 3.5 oz/100g skein).

Round 1: In a magic ring, ch 3 (counts as the first dc, here and throughout), in the magic ring, 4 dc, *ch 2, 5 dc, rep from * two more times, ch 2, join with a slst to the 3rd ch from the beginning. 20 dc, 4 corners
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same corner from round 1, *dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, skip next st, dc in next 2 sts, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner, rep from* 2 more times, dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, skip next st, dc in next 2 sts, (2 dc, ch 2) in next corner, join with a slst to the 3rd ch from the beginning. 32 dc, 4 corners, 4 ch 1 sp

Row 1: Chain 24, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. 23 sc
Rows 2 – 5: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Crocheting in rounds
Round 1: Ch 1, sc around the whole sides, aim for 2 (hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc) at each corner, join with a sl st to the beginning chain.
Rounds 2 – 10: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning chain.
Drop A, Join B
Rounds 11 – 16: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning chain.
Drop B, Join A
Rounds 17 – 25: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with a sl st to the beginning chain.
Fasten off.
