Easy Crochet Shawl Pattern

Easy crochet wing shawl pattern

Which comes first? the yarn color or the inspiration? For this project, the yarn colorway came first!!! I couldn’t resist designing an easy crochet wing shawl pattern in this colorway when I saw the yarn being advertised.

Easy Crochet Shawl Pattern

There are various things about this beautiful shawl that makes me super excited. First, the shape! Don’t you just love it? This shawl was inspired by a beautiful bird I sported some time ago. Even though it wasn’t a falcon, I have an affinity for Falcons and named this pattern after them – “the falcon wings shawl”.

Secondly, I am not really a shawl kind of girl but this all changed when I started adapting them to fit my personality – that is make them serve more functions. This easy crochet shawl can be styled in so many ways which I am sure, you would love also.

Thirdly, I can’t over-emphasize how this shawl looks in the colors I have used. The sharp contrast between the orange and black is amazing.

Also, this crochet wing shawl pattern was designed in 2 different sizes, so if you love a large airy scarf, this would perfectly fit you.

You should also check out my convertible shawl styled in different ways here.
