Reversible Sweater Wrap Pattern: One Make, Two Looks, Endless Styling

Today’s the day—the Reversible Sweater Wrap pattern is officially live 🎉

This design started with a simple wardrobe problem: I wanted a layer that could live by the door and actually get worn—not a precious “special occasion” piece. Something that could be thrown on like a scarf, worn like a wrap, and still feel like a sweater when I needed warmth.

The result is the Reversible Sweater Wrap: a cozy, textured wrap with integrated sleeves and ribbed cuffs that make it comfortable and secure (no constant readjusting). And because the stitch is reversible, you can flip it for a different look—perfect if you love getting multiple outfits out of one handmade piece.

Why you’ll love the Reversible Sweater Wrap Pattern

The Reversible Sweater Wrap is designed to be:

  • Reversible: Wear either side out for a different vibe.
  • Multi-wear: Style it as a long scarf, a wrapped shoulder layer, or a sleeved wrap/shrug.
  • Comfort-forward: Sleeves + cuffs keep it in place so you can move freely.
  • Photo-ready: The texture shows beautifully in solid or high-contrast color pairings.

Styling Ideas for Reversible Sweater Wrap

Here are my favorite ways to wear it:

  1. Scarf mode: Loop and drape for an everyday look (great with a coat).
  2. Wrap mode: Spread wide across the shoulders for elevated softness.
  3. Sweater wrap mode: Put your arms through the sleeves and wrap it across your body for a secure, cozy layer.
