This guy is hands down my favorite crochet elephant. You might be wondering, but it has a bag! I love how practical he is.

The improvised ears are so handy that my son loves to carry this guy by the ears!

Oh, it also has minimal sewing as the trunk is made in continuation with the head!

You would need two different weights of yarn for this crochet elephant pattern. A chunky and DK weight.
