31 October Crochet Patterns for Fall and Christmas
Today at Fosbas Designs: A New Crochet Surprise Every Day
The Fall Crochet Project Hop may be ending, but the daily crochet fun at Fosbas Designs is not going anywhere!
September has been such a lovely month of crochet, with a different project to discover throughout the Fall Crochet Project Hop. I have loved seeing you come back each day, download patterns, discover designs you may have missed, and add even more projects to your crochet lists.

So instead of saying goodbye to our daily crochet visits, I thought we should keep going.
Welcome to Today at Fosbas Designs.
What Is Today at Fosbas Designs?
Starting October 1, there will be something waiting for you regularly here at Fosbas Designs.
Some days you may find a free crochet pattern.
Other days could bring a new pattern release, a Crochet Along update, a quick weekend project, a Christmas crochet idea, a pattern you may have missed, a tutorial, a special offer, or even a chance to help me choose what comes next.
The idea is simple.
Whenever you are looking for a little crochet inspiration, come and see what is happening at Fosbas Designs today.

October Is Going to Be Full of Crochet
October is the perfect month for that transition from fall crochet into cozy winter and Christmas projects.
Throughout the month, you can expect a mixture of:
Free crochet patterns
Quick weekend projects
Christmas crochet ideas
Cozy hats, cowls, slippers and accessories
Crochet projects for the home
Gift ideas you can start making ahead of Christmas
New pattern releases
Patterns from the Fosbas Designs collection that deserve another look
And, of course, lots more from the Frosted Window Blanket Crochet Along.
Frosted Window Wednesdays
One thing you can definitely expect every week is Frosted Window Wednesday.
The Frosted Window Blanket Crochet Along continues throughout October, with new motifs being added as we work our way through the blanket.
We will be working through the circular motifs, hexagons, octagons, diamonds and squares before reaching our catch up period at the end of the month.
If you have not started yet, you can still join us.
The free pattern will continue to be updated as each section becomes available, so you can work through the blanket with us at your own pace.
And please remember to share your yarn choices and progress in the Fosbas Designs Facebook group. I love seeing how different the same blanket can look when everyone chooses their own colors.

Christmas Crochet Starts in October
Yes, I said Christmas!
If you are hoping to make handmade Christmas gifts or decorations this year, October is the perfect time to start.
During the month, I will be bringing back some quick projects that can easily become handmade gifts, including hats, cowls, mug cozies, bookmarks, kitchen accessories and more.
We will also start looking at Christmas decorations and some of the festive projects I have planned for the season.
So if your Christmas crochet list is still empty, that will probably change very soon.
Look Out for Patterns You May Have Missed
With so many patterns on Fosbas Designs, it is easy for a design you would love to disappear into the archives.
October will give some of those patterns another moment in the spotlight.
A crochet table runner can become part of your Christmas table.
A mug cozy can become a quick stocking filler.
A flower bookmark can become a simple gift for a teacher or book lover.
A cozy hat or pair of slippers can go straight onto your handmade Christmas gift list.
Sometimes you do not need a completely new pattern. You just need a new reason to make one you already love.
What Will Be Happening Each Week?
There will be a loose rhythm to the month, although I may occasionally surprise you.
Mondays will often bring a free or quick crochet project.
Wednesdays will be dedicated to the Frosted Window Blanket Crochet Along.
Fridays will be a good day to watch for new releases, pattern offers and projects to start over the weekend.
In between, you will find tutorials, crochet inspiration, pattern collections, Christmas ideas, community projects and plenty more.
Save Your Patterns in Your Fosbas Designs Library
