Lion brand Coboo – DK, #3 lightweight (51% Cotton, 49% Rayon from Bamboo, 232 yards/212m per 3.5 oz/100g skein)
Estimated Yardage
Main Color – (MC) Red = 70 yards
Contrasting Color (CC1) Black = 30 yards
Contrasting Color 2 (CC2) Yellow = 10 yards
Contrasting Color 3 (CC3), White = 10 yards

Button – 2 pieces (0.8cm)

Recently, I feel in love with the crossed double crochet stitches. And have since been playing with this beautiful stitch by adding or removing chains spaces.
Stitches Abbreviations
Chain/chains – ch/chs
Single Crochet – sc
Half double crochet – hdc
Double crochet – dc

Crossed double crochet lace (Xdcl)
First rowd of xdcl = *Skip next 2 sts, dc in next st, ch 1, crocheting over the dc just made into the 1st skipped st, yarn over, insert hook into skipped stitch and yarn over (3 loops on the hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through the remaining 2 loops, ch 1

Section 1 – Main Mug Cozy Pattern
With MC, chain 74
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd chain from hook and in each ch across, turn. 72 dc
Row 2: Ch 2, dc in first st, xdcl across to last st, dc in last st, turn. 2 dc, 24 xdcl
Row 3: Rep Row 2
Fasten off MC, join CC1
Row 4: Rep Row 2
Fasten off CC1, join MC
Rows 5 – 6: Rep Row 2
Row 7: Ch 2, *hdc in first leg of xdcl, hdc in next ch sp, hdc in next leg of xdcl, rep from * to last st, hdc in last st, turn.
Do not fasten off
Edging
Crocheting down the short side, one side at a time.
With the right side facing you.
You can use only MC or join CC1 midway through.
Row 1: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each st/ch sp across. Fasten off.
Join yarn on the opposite side, repeat Row 1

With CC2, using mattress stitch, sew the pocket to the mug cozy, leaving the fourth side un-sewn.

I like this set but it I don’t seem to find the third part of the pattern (the spoon hat). Is it listed somewhere else? I think it would be a nice addition to the set I am making for a gift.
